GOVERNANCE
The Gladstone Healthy Harbour Partnership (GHHP) is a partnership of community organisations, industry, research organisations, statutory bodies and government. The Partnership was formed to independently report on the health of Gladstone Harbour, and identify opportunities based on rigorous science and strong stakeholder engagement to monitor the health to the Harbour for the future.

This is achieved by the production of an annual whole-of-system Gladstone Harbour Report Card.
WHAT'S OUR GRADE?
A REPORT CARD FOR REPORT CARDS
The What’s Our Grade? Report Card, developed and published by Darwinian Consulting, evaluates the performance of each of the five Reef Report Card Partnerships across the Great Barrier Reef.

Each partnership is assessed against five key success factors: cohesive staff, credible science, organisational resilience, stakeholder relevance, and effective outreach.

GHHP received a B– in the inaugural 2020 What’s Our Grade? Report Card, with an impressive A in credible science. By the 2022 report, GHHP had improved to a B+, earning A grades in cohesive staff, credible science, and stakeholder relevance.

The most recent report, published in 2024, marked GHHP’s best result yet — an A– — reflecting significant progress in effective outreach, total reach, and communication effectiveness.
